With her quartet, Mannheim-based singer and composer Jil Pappert creates her very own sound language: "New Urban Jazz". Between traditional jazz, neo-soul and R'n'B, she creates a modern, multi-layered sound full of warmth, groove and attitude. Her songs combine social issues with personal emotions - reflective, powerful and approachable.

As a sought-after musician, she has already performed on stage with Judith Hill at the Stuttgart Jazz Open and as part of Andreas Kümmert's band.

With her own band, Jil Pappert presents a young, self-confident jazz generation - curious, stylistically open and full of energy live.
