An evening that sparks: When the internationally acclaimed piano virtuoso and Grammy winner Marian Petrescu takes to the stage with bassist Joel Locher and drummer Felix Schrack, the result is a trio full of virtuoso elegance, eruptive energy and timeless jazz aesthetics.

Petrescu's masterful technique and unmistakable sound have earned him the nickname "Horowitz of jazz piano". And yet TRIOLOGY is far more than a tribute to Oscar Peterson. With their own compositions and echoes of modern greats, the trio presents a style that seems familiar and yet sounds surprisingly fresh. Locher and Schrack form a rhythmic foundation that carries powerfully, breathes subtly and perfectly shapes the trio's musical dramaturgy.
