We are celebrating the 50th concert in the 15th year of the series!
Johannes Keller is a versatile musician who is at home as a double bass player in jazz and jazz-related music. However, he has also dedicated himself to a tango band, tours the electro scene with the technoid trio "Kasimir-Effekt" and is active in the interdisciplinary ensemble "Megaphon" and the "Tonhallenorchester".
Together with Carsten Bethmann (guitar, wind instruments) and Holger Kirleis (electric piano), he heads for various musically appealing destinations: Baroque songs, jazz standards, his own finds... and even Erik Satie is allowed to peek around the corner.
Music in flux, always condensed and jammed, quite familiar yet surprising.
An exhibition of photos by Klaus Fleige will be opened before the concert. He has photographed most of the concerts since the series began in 2010.
From 6.00 pm opening of the photo exhibition by Klaus Fleige to mark the anniversary of the concert series, followed by the concertat 8.00 pm .
