Juhu - André Gatzke liest vor - LeseWelten feiert den Bundesweiten Vorlesetag im Deutschen Sport- und Olympiamuseum

On Friday, November 21, 2025, it will be exciting again at the German Sport & Olympia Museum: As part of the nationwide Read Aloud Day, André Gatzke, WDR presenter and patron of the Cologne reading initiative LeseWelten, will read from the children's book "Juhu Letzter! Die neue Olympiade der Tiere" by Jens Rassmus. In this wonderfully quirky animal Olympics, everything is turned on its head - this time it's finally not the strongest and fastest who win. The reading is accompanied by a cheerful picture book cinema and, of course, the popular reading monster Liesbert, who ensures a good mood and is happy to pose for photos.

The reading event is aimed at children aged 5 to 10 and their families. Participation is free of charge. Together with the German Sport & Olympia Museum, LeseWelten is setting an example for the joy of reading and the importance of education and togetherness.

Registration is not required. The number of participants may be limited if there is a large crowd. Please arrive at the museum ticket office approx. 15 minutes before the start of the event.
