Jürgen Ehle & Scarlett'O

In the organizer's words:

GLANZSTÜCKE with SCARLETT O' & JÜRGEN EHLE

SCARLETT O' & JÜRGEN EHLE, both on stage for over 40 years, have been on the road as a musical couple since the turn of the millennium. In this time together, with over 20 full-length programs ranging from duos to octets, they have accumulated more than just a few favourite songs.

GLANZSTÜCKE showcases the musical range of the two musicians. It is an encounter with new songs of their own and well-known, borrowed songs, with songs from a wide variety of genres. Just lean back and enjoy or sing along - from folk, folk songs to chansons, (movie) hits to Brecht songs and rock and roll, from Gundermann to the Beatles.

Both write, compose and play various instruments.
SCARLETT O', singer - and also storyteller - with an expressive and extremely versatile voice, fronted the folk band WACHOLDER for 23 years from 1978 until their break-up in 2001 and toured with folk greats such as the Sands Family and Dick Gaughan back in the 80s. She gave her first solo performance in 1998 and has since been on the road with various projects and line-ups without, but mainly with JÜRGEN EHLE.

JÜRGEN EHLE, the guitarist of the rock band PANKOW - previously 4PS, Veronika Fischer, among others - has not only had a major influence on the band, but is still the guitar hero for an entire scene.
He produces, has composed film and theater music, and today, in addition to SCARLETT O', is also the guitarist in the DRESEN-SCHEER-BAND and THOMAS RÜHMANN.

They have named their biggest joint project SINNESWANDEL. In the small village of Liebenhof, in the middle of the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park, they have converted an old house, including a recording studio and living room stage for winter slipper concerts. In summer, there are concerts in the garden.
