KAFKA – in falschen Händen

This was the last request of the dying Franz Kafka to his closest friend Max
Brod - a radical request: to turn all the loneliness, depth and doubt of his texts into ashes.

Brod, however, decided to preserve his friend's legacy. He believed that in Kafka's
Kafka's shadow a destiny that extended beyond his life. Was that
betrayal? Or liberation?
The Kafka myth also tells the story of an extraordinary friendship - of two people
people who found solace and fulfillment in the exchange of words and whose dialogue
changed the history of literature. But what do we owe to the words of another?
The nö theater embarks on a journey into the interstices of loyalty and
letting go of duty and heart - to where the promise ends and something new
begins. Perhaps the answer lies there - in the truth that Kafka himself sought.
