German rock with psychedelic influences

Karsten Nordhausen (bass and vocals), TOshi Trebess (guitar and vocals) and Stefan SchwaRTZ (drums). Based in Cologne and Aachen, the band has all the prerequisites for a classic rock trio and has been developing its very own style of heavy German-language rock with psychedelic influences since 2010. Since the band was founded, it has released four longplayers with original compositions, a cover LP, played numerous concerts in Aachen, Cologne, Mönchengladbach and Krefeld, as well as a three-week tour of Germany in 2012. In 2018, KATORTZ was engaged by the Stadttheater Aachen for 19 performances of Schiller's "Die Räuber". During the time of the Corona pandemic, KATORTZ worked on and produced their new album BALLAST, which will be released on April 8, 2022.

Punk rock in German from Cologne

Frl. Rottenmeier finally makes the music that people listen to. With German-textual, melodic punk rock, it invites you to bawl along. All minor and major everyday situations are sarcastically and nastily dealt with in Fräulein's lyrics, with occasional dashes of wicked humor and an arrogant view of the world. The band consists of Sven Rottenmeier (bass), Marius Rottenmeier (guitar), Mattes Rottenmeier (drums) and Jule Rottenmeier (vocals). The four now-Cologne natives with Croatian, Ruhrpott and other influences make use of their grandiose potential in order to bang a colorful bouquet of honesties, truths and grumpiness on the head of posterity.

Prog punk

bilk 13 - that's Gert Blankenstein (lead vocals, bass), Klaus Bühren aka Nick Bauer (guitar, bass) and Alex Don (drums). The band is based in Düsseldorf. bilk 13 is a prog-punk band from Düsseldorf. The band combines the roots of punk rock with versatile influences from stoner rock, alternative and metal. Their last 3 singles present the band in all its diversity: the latest single Unter Wasser (released 01.07.25) is the high point of their musical development for the time being. What was started in the song Die Flut (release 09/23) is consistently continued with "Unter Wasser". Atmospherically dense dystopias with opening harmonious choruses that not only lend the songs unexpected twists and turns, but also give them hope. The punk-rock C'est la vie (release 09/23) brings out the life-affirming side of the band. After the 2020 album "manipuliert" came with partly English lyrics, the lyrics are now written exclusively in German. The songs are created entirely DIY and are "independent" in the truest sense of the word - without producers, sound engineers, labels or managers. The band gained live experience at venues including the legendary Ratinger Hof in Düsseldorf and the Blue Shell in Cologne.
