KEHRMASCHINE

A movement study about order.

We sweep a yard. There must be order. We hold on to what has always been. In a constant repetition, everything is scrutinized until nothing looks the same as it did at the beginning. Our perception wanders and a fly becomes an elephant. Our thoughts work their way through our surroundings, singing, speaking, dancing and encompassing the world.

Two souls stand together, but remain far apart, drifting through an endless stream of images and sounds. Their faces are motionless, their gazes blurred, their bodies sway gently, as if time itself had forgotten to move.
