Kekse & Kakao - Kinderzimmer Indie - Benefizkonzert am Nikolaustag

In the organizer's words:

Kekse & Kakao give the family music genre a new and colorful touch. The band from Cologne delights ears young and old with catchy and handmade indie pop.

With lyrics full of linguistic wit and pictorial precision, their songs tell of an imaginative journey to the moon with a goldfish, of two chickpeas that turn an entire supermarket upside down with their giggles, or wrap up lots of small, fine rhymes in a funny, quirky nonsense song. The music of Kekse & Kakao is simply fun and invites you to enjoy moments full of positive energy and lightness.

With their debut EP released in July 25, the "six cookies" are now on their way to conquering the hearts of young and old across the country. On St. Nicholas Day, Kekse & Kakao will play their end-of-year concert at home in Cologne in the large hall of the Bürgerzentrum Ehrenfeld. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the "A vacation for a child" campaign.

And a special support act is also part of the charity event: singer and songwriter Stefan Honig (Accidental Bird, HONIG) will read from his recently published children's book Die Reisemeise.
