Kendall Lujan

In the organizer's words:

Portland, Oregon artist Kendall Lujan released her first full album Lucky Penny on February 21, 2025. Her songs are honest, introspective and thoughtful. After several European tours in just one and a half years, she shows her artistic development and versatility with this work.

The first single Goodbyes was released in March 2024, in which Lujan deals with topics such as loss, parting and the end of relationships, as well as the realization that some people do not fit into one's own life permanently. Nevertheless, it conveys hope: in the end, you find those who really stay.

The song received particular attention when it was placed over the end credits in the final scene of the Peacock series Long Bright River with Amanda Seyfried. The central refrain sums up the message: "It takes a lot of goodbyes to get to forever."
