While pregnant with her second child, Kika is confronted with the sudden death of her partner. Broke and heartbroken, she has to reset her priorities: First: stay strong, second: make money - and fast. Dirty underwear, dildos and neurotic parents will be of unexpected help to her. The portrait of a woman caught between grief and economic pressure. Tender, loving and yet bitterly funny.
Kika celebrated its world premiere in May 2025 at the Cannes International Film Festival in the "Semaine de la critique" section. The French-Belgian film director, screenwriter and photographer Alexe Poukine has previously worked in the field of documentaries. Kika is her feature film debut.

Alors qu'elle est enceinte, Kika fait face à la mort soudaine de son compagnon. Completely foxed and her heart is burning, she sets her priorities: first, stay strong; then, find the money. Culottes sales, godes-ceintures et parents névrosés vont l'aider. Contrary to all expectations.
Kika is the first long-métrage de fiction by the French-Belgian director Alexe Poukine, previously known for her documentaries. The film was presented in Cannes in May this year as part of the Semaine de la Critique.
