Kiosk Session // Polypol Ensemble

In the organizer's words:

Polypol is an international, curious and versatile ensemble that aims to musically reflect the cultural diversity of the city.

They broaden musical horizons and play music from various places and traditions around the world. The personal musical backgrounds and wishes of our players are decisive for their program. Among them are specially arranged pieces of music from Ukraine, Macedonia, Turkey, Mongolia, Columbia and many more. On their instruments such as baglama, clarinets, accordion, kanun, various string and percussion instruments (etc.), they create a unique sound that connects and enchants.

The Impulse team for Polypol consists of: Zeynep Irmak (baglama player and singer), Naranbaatar Purevdorj (double bass player, Morin Khuur player and singer) and Hannah Heuking (clarinettist).
