The String Company - A musical adventure through the world of sounds!
With its unique blend of world music, gipsy, Balkan, klezmer and chanson, the Erfurt ensemble enchants its audience. The musicians come from the most diverse musical universes and combine their different influences into a harmonious whole. At the concert, the audience can expect a lively mosaic of sounds, rhythms and melodies that reflects the traditions of gipsy, klezmer, Balkan and world music in all their diversity.
As a highlight, the band presents its song cycle on the Jewish treasure: mysterious objects such as the tuning key and a small silver box are staged. Visitors can also immerse themselves in the spiritual atmosphere of a mikvah with the song "Tojwle" and be enchanted by the fascinating sounds.
The singer Marion Minkus will be accompanied by Lev Guzman (viola) | Peter Kluge (guitar) | Nils Würfel (double bass) | Silke Krappel (accordion) | Eric Ebeling (sound design).
