In the organizer's words:

The "Dastan" music festival was created with the aim of building a bridge between cultures and generations. This still young cultural event endeavors to bring together Iranian artists and musicians living in Europe, both in the field of Western classical music and Persian classical music, and to give them the opportunity to present their art to both the Iranian diaspora and the European audience.

"Dastan" aims to create a forum for encounters, collaboration, shared experiences and creative projects - and in the long term strives to become a bridge between Iranian artists and the international music world.

The first program of "Dastan", entitled "Piano Recital", presents four Iranian pianists performing masterpieces from the Western and Persian classical repertoire. Nima Farahmand Bafi, Aryan Dayyani, Hamed Garschi and Sohrab Labib will perform works by Chopin, Rachmaninov, Khachaturian, de Falla, Meshkatian, Aminollah Hossein and other great composers.
