With "KÖLN LACHT!" THE BIG FESTIVAL SHOW", the COLOGNE COMEDY FESTIVAL celebrates highlights from this year's festival together with WDR5!

Host of the evening, Jan van Weyde , presents artists from the 150 or so mix shows, solos, readings and movie nights that will be shown in over 30 locations throughout Cologne from October 22 to November 9. This year, "KÖLN LACHT" will take place in the Stadthalle Köln for the first time, offering the most colorful of all comedy mixes with its diverse line-up. From classic stand-ups to music, jokes and the funniest legal cases in the world.

The show is co-recorded by WDR5.

This year's presenter and host of the evening, Jan van Weyde, is an all-rounder behind the microphone and a professional in front of the camera. As an actor, he is known from the big screen, television and theater. He has also felt at home in comedy for more than ten years and is a popular guest in the best-known stage and TV formats with his stand-ups and legendary parodies.

Hugo Egon Balder 's career is too long for a short program text. Starting out as a musician, he has since presented his way through the German entertainment industry, first on the radio and later on television. The entertainer, actor and producer is known for his flair for comedy and his brilliant repartee. And he has now packed all of this into his brand new solo program.

Dr. Pop, a name that couldn't be shorter or more fitting. The comedian with a doctorate in pop music is a doctor of music. As a radio comedian, he perfectly combines what goes together in his weekly column: Music and comedy.

Anissa Loucif is part-time comedienne, part-time anesthesiologist and knocks people out even without anesthetics. At the 1LIVE COMEDY-NACHT XXL in 2024, Anissa Loucif was already on the biggest comedy stage in Germany! Since then, she has been treating her ever-growing fanbase with an overdose of humor.

Prof. Christian Solmecke completes the line-up with a very special genre of juratainment. The Cologne-based lawyer is not only the hottest legal authority for the millions of fans of his YouTube channel "WBS Legal". In his bestsellers such as "Der Taschenanwalt", he also delights readers with his well-founded and entertaining explanations of the current legal situation. At the festival, he brings the funniest legal cases in the world live on stage for the first time!

Seraphina Kalze, the queen of flat jokes, is not only very successful on her social media channels. She puts her musical talent on show in several published singles. When the trained TV presenter and energetic all-rounder takes to the stage, she sweeps her audience off their feet.

Few people have been on the stand-up stage as often as Ben Schafmeister in recent years. As the host of NightWash, he sings funny songs about being different and getting older. At the same time, he stands for smart and authentic comedy with quick-reacting audience interactions.

Schlongonges says of herself: 'She came to the comedy stage like a virgin to a child. She is so successful with her humor, dialect and sexy "accents" that she is now not only touring Germany with her first solo program, but also won the NightWash Talent Award in 2024.

Freddy Ekué started out as a model and found his way onto the comedy stage thanks to his unmistakable charm and humor. His stories are characterized by self-irony and sharp humour, shedding light on topics such as identity, cultural clichés and the madness of everyday life.

Lennard Rosar manages to unite what many creative artists today try so meticulously to separate: stand-up, cabaret, satire and a great deal of prose. With his satirical stories and food for thought, he is not only a popular guest on comedy stages, but also the organizer of various stand-up shows in Cologne.
