"Cologne speaks - the local election arena" at Aachener Weiher

We want to talk to each other instead of about each other. That's why we cordially invite all Cologne residents to take part in " Cologne Speaks 2025" on the occasion of the upcoming local elections in September.

The event offers an open space for dialog and discussion between citizens and political representatives in a low-threshold, interactive and respectful way.

What can you expect?

• Pop-cultural impulses and discussions on topics such as social media and democracy.

• FMA - Ask me anything: Open Q&A session with exciting guests.

• Cultural contributions: Music, poetry and comedy will liven up the atmosphere.

• Election arena: An interactive exchange with the mayoral and city council candidates of the city of Cologne. Here you have the chance to make your opinion visible and talk directly to the candidates!

Where? At the Aachener Weiher, Cologne (next to the beer garden on the open meadow area)

The event is freely accessible and offers the opportunity to actively participate in discussions and help shape the future of Cologne.
