KontraSax & Friends KONZERT: „Celebrating special anniversary!“

In the organizer's words:

The Cologne duo KontraSax is celebrating a very special anniversary in 2025: the two musicians Christina Fuchs and Romy Herzberg have been playing together in this formation for 35 years! For this musical celebration, they have invited two like-minded companions, Georg Ruby (piano) and Florian Stadler (accordion), to become a quartet for the evening.

KontraSax stands for improvised diversity - there seem to be no limits to the creative use of the instruments and the possibilities of sound production. The result is a colorful, expressive, individual and emphatic chamber music between emotion and intellect, between the composed and the improvised.
