Konzert: Matrone / Gosse (Hardcore / Punk / Sludge)

In the organizer's words:

Matron
Ronja (drums, sampler, percussion and sensory percussion) and Marta (guitar, vocals, octaver and loops): just two people but a lot of noise. Sometimes crashing and driving, sometimes melodious, the soundscapes merge into one another and take the listener on a journey through a wide range of styles and emotions. Post-punk, grunge, noise and hardcore, but also Latin grooves, flamenco, stoner rock, and finally, as they also like to improvise on stage in between, whatever drives them at the moment.
Not only the music, but also the lyrics are an outlet for feelings and world-weariness, with the aim of transforming them into strength and a sense of community.
Both had played together for the first time a very long time ago in Inky Shot, then separately in bands such as Maison Derriere, Misfired, S.O.S. Sort of Sober and Notgemeinschaft Peter Pan. Also, not to be underestimated, they both work in a music workshop with children and teenagers, which FORCES them to go far out of their comfort zone and push their musical boundaries.
