Konzert mit André Closius & Martin Friedenstab

In his program, Hamburg guitarist and singer Martin Friedenstab presents many of his own pieces as well as individual interpretations of some classics of the blues genre. However, the songs always offer room for improvisation, so that the traditional sounds can always be recreated in a modern and dynamic way.

Sylt musician André Closius (g,voc,hc) plays blues, boogie and ragtime from the 1900-1950s. His repertoire is performed in the fingerpicking style of old blues legends.

Friedenstab and Closius harmonize perfectly in their playing and singing and offer an entertaining program not only for blues purists.
