Konzert Pierce Brassmen

In the organizer's words:

PIERCE BRASSMEN 2.0 / It`s all about Groove

All good things come in twos....at least....

Pierce Brassmen will be playing at the Engelshof again this year...Funk, Soul, Latin
and the whole thing again in the big hall. It's your own fault if you stand still.
As our tenor saxophonist likes to say...It's 90 % groove and 10 % jazz.

Pierce Brassmen is a group of young musicians from Porz,
who play any music that has groove. They all learn their instruments at the Carl Stamitz Music School.
In this formation of 11 musicians we have already played songs from
songs from Stevie Wonder to Jamiroquai on stage.

This year we have received further reinforcements for our sound and look forward to
to see you again or get to know you for the first time.

...and there will also be a surprise act.

Like last year, our additional proceeds will go to an NGO project in Africa.

This event will again take place in cooperation with the Carl Stamitz Music School and the Bürgerzentrum Engelshof e.V..
