Three black female mathematicians are making space history - and fighting racism and sexism day in, day out. Hidden Figures tells their impressive, true story and shows how much courage, solidarity and perseverance women* need to be seen in a male-dominated world.

A film that moves, inspires and encourages - and reminds us how important it is to stand together against inequality and violence.

💜 Why this evening is important

Violence against women* and girls* has many faces - physical, psychological, structural or digital.
With this movie night, we want to send a signal of solidarity and cohesion: For visibility, respect and equality and against violence - everywhere and in every form.

We stand up for each other, listen and make visible what is often overlooked.
Because only together and in solidarity can we create change. ✊

The movie night is aimed exclusively at FLINTA people* - i.e. women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people. Admission as well as popcorn, snacks and drinks are free of charge on this evening (while stocks last). The venue is at ground level and there is a disabled toilet.

This event is taking place as part of the Cologne Orange Days - the international days of action against violence against women* and girls* and is initiated by the Cologne Working Group against Violence against Women.
