KRAUTHAMMER XII

He's back again! The legendary Krauthammer brings the spirit of the Krautrock era back to the Milla. Munich, once a glowing hotbed of this movement, was a center for free music, psychedelic visions and radical experimentation - and today this energy is back. After relevant evenings with legends such as ex-CAN singer Damo Suzuki, Embryo or Peter Frohmader's Nekropolis, the series builds a direct bridge to the present: a new generation of neo-krautrock bands is forming, uncompromisingly going their own way with trance-like grooves, complex, open song architectures and free improvisation - raw, hypnotic and anything but museum-like.

Ubu.zip

Ubu.zip is a Kraut/Electronica duo from Munich. With drums and synthesizers, ubu .zip create a retro-futuristic sound that is rooted in classic Krautrock, but also draws on various elements of electronic music from the past and present.
Hypnotic beats and melodic sequences are just as much a part of the sound as experimental noise interludes.

Watoo is a Munich-based band that creates an unmistakable sound with its mixture of jazz, psychedelic, krautrock and free improvisation.
