Dagmar Maria Toschka reads from her crime novel "Hafenwasser mit Schuss". It takes us to a gloomy place within the Deutzer Brücke, to the white boats in the Rheinauhafen and an airy apartment in the Kranhaus Nord.

Linda Weißenberg throws herself into the adversities of her unwanted single life with wit and quick-wittedness when she finds a corpse on a cleaning job in the Deutzer Brücke. She promptly becomes the target of Cologne police detective Raimund Golt, who for several reasons never lets her out of his sight and soon suspects her of the murder.

As the noose of circumstantial evidence tightens around her neck, she has to think of a way to free herself from it.
