A crime trail is more than just a walk: you move freely through the town, follow an exciting story on your smartphone and become an investigator yourself. Without a fixed schedule, you decide which leads to follow, which clues to examine more closely - and how to approach the case.
In the "Tides of Crime " case, shrimp fisherman Leif Brehde 's world is suddenly turned upside down. His cutter has been badly damaged in a cloak-and-dagger operation and smeared with threats. There is also a clear message on board: "Think carefully about what you do!" For Leif, this is a shock - and for you, it's the start of a case where there's more to it than a simple act of vandalism. Who has an interest in intimidating him? And why now?
You take on the investigation, question suspects, check their statements and try to weigh up their motives and alibis. Five people come into question - but which of them is telling the truth? And who is playing a double game? The closer you look, the clearer it becomes: In this case, it's often the small details that make all the difference.
Your search for clues takes you right across Büsum - from the bustling harbor to the fishing quay to the south beach, where the Wadden Sea changes with every tide. Places such as the town hall, St. Clemens Church, the lighthouse and the old harbor island will also be part of your investigation and give the case a distinctive backdrop between everyday maritime life and North German serenity.
