A murder case in the heart of the student city
A crime trail combines city discovery with real investigative work: equipped with your smartphone and a digital file, you move freely through the city, following clues, questioning suspects and solving a complex case step by step. You set the pace and sequence yourself - and Münster becomes your personal investigation area.
In the "Life is short" case, a young man is found dead on the promenade early in the morning: Paul, a member of the Masculum civitatem fraternity. It soon becomes clear that it was no accident. But who had a motive? His professor? Two fraternity pals? His ex-girlfriend? Or is there possibly a political background behind the crime? The deeper you delve, the more it becomes clear: Paul's environment is more complex than it first appears - and not everyone is telling the truth.
Now you take over the investigation. You collect evidence, analyze statements and check alibis. Via the interactive chat with the operations center, you will receive new information that could shake up your previous theories. Every decision counts - because wrong conclusions will quickly lead you down the wrong path.
Your route begins on the Promenade, Münster's green belt that surrounds the old town - and is also the scene of the crime. From there, the case leads you to the Kreuzviertel district, where a very special dynamic unfolds behind stylish old buildings and relaxed cafés. At the Schlosstheater, you ask yourself who may have seen more that night than they are letting on. A low-key meeting could have taken place in Martin-Niemöller-Park, while the Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche with its striking architecture is more than just a quiet retreat. After all, many paths converge at Nordplatz, the lively center of the district - perhaps even the decisive ones.
