Dreamlike path to the Franco-German Cultural Institute

To mark the 80th anniversary of the Franco-German Cultural Institute, artist Julie Stephen Chheng invites us on a poetic and dreamlike tour. From the stairs in Doblerstrasse to the Institute, we are led along a path dotted with sometimes imaginary creatures that appear to play with us and inspire us to wonder and dream.

The journey ends inside the institute, where the interactive projection "Fortune Teller" welcomes visitors. This installation confronts the audience with nature spirits that follow one another in incessant motion until an encounter is triggered. At this moment, a personal message and a dreamlike universe are created, inspired by the movements of nature.

Along the entire path, the experience is enriched by an augmented reality narrative in which ghosts appear - visible, hidden or ready for dialog - and in which reality and fantasy merge to magically bring the entire trail to life and delight visitors of all ages.
