What holds a book together and what covers it? From folding and stitching book pages to decorating book covers, we learn about the steps and tools used by bookbinders. A series of simple binding methods, from simple saddle stitching to perfect binding and fanfold, guarantees a successful introduction to bookbinding, even for the inexperienced.

About the series of events

The art workshop offers passionate book fans the opportunity to get to grips with topics relating to book production. A wide variety of printing techniques, bookbinding, the production of colored papers and a wide range of folding work made from paper are presented. The offer is aimed at adults interested in art and families with older children.
