With "La dolce vita", Antonio Marra presents a painting of great sensual presence and visual sophistication. Inspired by Op and Pop Art, he creates pictorial worlds full of color, rhythm and Mediterranean lightness. Organic, geometric and floral forms combine to create dynamic compositions that are both powerful and playful. Shapes, depths and color effects change depending on the point of view, as if the pictures were reacting directly to the viewer's movement. The eye is caught up in a silent interplay of proximity and distance, the picture seems to breathe and constantly rearrange itself. The result is art that is not only viewed, but physically experienced - immediate, lively and of quiet intensity.
