With this special French concert evening, Evi Niessner - The Voice Of Vintage - takes the audience back to old Paris by night and lets it shine in bright lights - Paris! ...when it was still like a circus. The streets and squares of this magical city of Paris are full of stories and secrets. They tell of unfulfilled longing, of happy and unhappy love affairs, sleepless nights and big dreams of a better world. "Parlez moi d'amour!" means: "Tell me about love!", and Evi Niessner does just that with her expressive voice and her whole body in all its facets.

Annegret Cratz is one of Germany's most renowned musicians on the accordion. On this evening, she turns the most French of all instruments into a full orchestra. With classics such as Milord, Padam Padam and L'Accordeoniste, rarities such as Kurt Weill's Youkali and her own arrangement of Evi Niessner's title chanson La Nuit, the whole world becomes a place of longing, Paris, for this blue hour.

And when Dimi Rey's violin jubilates, laments, weeps or laughs with such stylistic confidence, virtuosity and mastery as no other, you are swept away in a sea of sounds and emotions - and the lovers talk tenderly about love all night long.

In LA NUIT DE PARIS - AUF DEN SPUREN DER PIAF, Evi Niessner delves into the world of Piaf, shedding light on the dark side of the city of love with all its secrets, abysses and radiant beauty. An evening at the highest artistic and musical level, performed with playful and nonchalant lightness - just like the night in Paris!
