LaDOC Film Network presents:
Next Generation - Strategies of tomorrow's female filmmakers

In the new Next Generation series, LaDOC presents female colleagues who are at the beginning of their careers. Their short films have already been shown at festivals such as Cannes, Warsaw and the London Short Film Festival. We will be showing their work in the presence of the filmmakers and inviting you to a moderated discussion afterwards.

We would like to talk to the filmmakers about their work:

• What happens next after their initial successes?

• How do they see their professional future as female auteur filmmakers?

• What strategies do they develop, do they have role models and how do they make a living?

An exchange between female filmmakers of different generations.

Immaculata
The assistant of a sinister power couple becomes pregnant for inexplicable reasons. Immaculata seems like an unexpected offshoot of Rosemary's Baby, between half-open doors and a phobia of liquids.

In a combination of documentary footage and animated film, the filmmaker explores the long life of her neighbor and reflects on her own aging process. A hypnotic exploration.
