This event is part of the Hammer Summer Festival.

Fresh gags in the open air - laugh until the Bille gurgles.

It's not about red carpets - it's about tears of laughter. Laughboat means: microphone on, stage free, fun in a continuous loop. Frederik Merten brings six to eight comedians into the spotlight to show you how fresh stand-up can be.

No hackneyed punchlines - new things are tested here. The gags are as fresh as the summer light on the river. Sometimes as pointed as a pinprick, sometimes as wild as a downpour. You never know what's coming next - and that's what makes it so good.

The setting is simple. Under the open sky, wit and the rustle of leaves mingle. Time flies and you go home with a smile on your face and a story waiting to be told.

Sit down, enjoy the moment and take a few laughs home with you.

Leave your car at home - there are hardly any parking spaces in the district. Come relaxed by bus or city bike:
- Bus 112 to "Osterbrookplatz"
- Bus 130 to "Braune Brücke"
- City bike station "Osterbrookplatz"
