(Lebens)Geschichten aus der LSBTIQ*-Welt – ein Workshop

In the organizer's words:

This event is for everyone who is part of the LGBTIQ* community:

Become part of our journey through the last 60 years of LGBTIQ* history and bring your own, as a narrator you will fill selected stations of this journey with life and share your personal experiences. We are interested in reports from historical witnesses as well as young and current perspectives and experiences. Which story from your life would you like to tell?

We can well imagine the following topics: § 175 StGB, women's rights, relationship models, love, sexuality, family of origin, rainbow families, friendship, living, working, commitment and networks, patriarchy, gender roles, transition, celebrations, coming out, intersectionality.

From our own experiences and many conversations with different people, we know that there is little contact and connection between the individual groups of the LGBTIQ* community. We want to change this and create a trusting space in which people from all parts of the LGBTIQ* spectrum can meet - across generations, identities and life paths.

By talking and listening, we learn from each other, discover similarities and better understand differences.

Would you like to come into contact with people with whom you have had little or no contact so far and get to know their reality?

About the speakers: We - Ela Hertling (born 1985) and Susanne Schloßmacher (born 1965) - are part of the LGBTIQ* community ourselves and trainers for queerness and non-violent communication.

With our workshops, we want to create formats for encounters that connect the different groups of the LGBTIQ* spectrum. In this way, we want to help our community grow closer together - and be strong together.
