In the series "Leise schäumt das Jetzt", Britta Lieberknecht explores improvisation as performance art.
The encounter between dance and music is shaped into a poetic work with ever new facets - as 100% improvisation before the eyes and ears of the audience.

Hannah Weirich - excellent violinist of contemporary music, known in Cologne as a member of the Ensemble Musikfabrik, Eva Zöllner - outstanding accordionist who performs worldwide, eliciting the most improbable sounds from her instrument and who already performed in the 1st episode of the series, Neues Barcons Roca. Neues Barcons Roca - known in Cologne as a passionate dance ensemble member and soloist with Britta Lieberknecht and Mouvoir, and Britta Lieberknecht - an experimental dancer and choroegrapher with a long history in the avant-garde of dance performance.
This new formation was celebrated in the preview in August. Its characteristic is the unified dynamic from powerful confrontation to tender intimacy. The quality of the concertante parts of the evening is as high as the creative connection with the inventive dancers is surprising. An encounter ranging from exuberant energy to quietly effervescent.
Garlef Keßler also improviseshis poetic lighting design with great sensitivity.
In these unpredictable times of global upheaval, the team reflects on elementary skills that help us move forward as a society: Communicativeness and empathy, the courage to make decisions and determination.
