Lemongrab (Garage Punk, Montréal/Berlin) + Socke (Punk, Heidelberg) + Invertida (HC-Punk, Mannheim) + Rocket 2 (Postpunk, Heidelberg)

In the organizer's words:

Lemongrab is a 4 piece garage punk band known for their raw and authentic live shows. Originally founded in Montréal, the band is based in Berlin since 2020 and has made a quick yet lasting impression in the Berlin and wider European underground scene.

Expect cathartic fueled art punk. Their influences range from the Stooges to the Clean, detouring at Pylon's weirdo-pop hooks and resurfacing on a familiar Bikini Kill-esque territory. Lemongrab's new 7inch Small all is a patchwork of four songs, all pulling their own corner of the blanket while sharing the same cover of punk sensibilities and politics.

Each song, in it's own style, questions systems of beliefs which often leads to existential angst. While "Pay to play" highlights the music industry's lack of interest in creating liveable wages for the artists it depends on, "No Receipt", a hybrid country-punk song, laughs at the difficulties of navigating romantic partnership when the notion of couple as we know it reveals itself to be another capitalist trap. "Yoko", in continuation with "No Receipt", decenters the male ego as the measure of experience with tongue-in-cheek lyrics and delta-five reminiscent grooves. Finally, kraut-rock flavored "Necessary conditions" denounces our tendencies to keep our attention distracted with superficial choices when the world around us is crumbling.

Small all can be hard to pin down since all its songs vary in style, but the same lo-fi garage/punk sound pushes through and makes this 7inch consistent with the previous albums while remaining full of surprises. The 7inch will be released in the fall via Mothland (CAN) and Chrüsimüsi Records (CH) .

Socke was born in a car dealership and has been living in the lively creative community between moldy rehearsal room walls and punk rock pilgrimage sites in Rhine-Main-Neckar ever since. In May, their second EP on 7'' will be released on the Heidelberg label Kink Records: "One year after the demo tape, which is now available in a second edition, and many concerts in 2025, SOCKE are back with their first 7". There are 5 new songs on it and they are in no way inferior to the songs from the demo tape ... 5x fast, energetic German punk with keyboard use, often reminiscent of PISSE. Everything is nice and snotty and at the same time incredibly catchy. Socke strikes back!" - Kink Records

Invertida make hardcore punk full on the face as it should be. Don't miss a minute of the band from Mannheim's most beautiful youth center, songs are short!

Rocket 2: Post-punk noise like Triebwerklärm - never before have aliens been so illegal - destroying the earth wasn't enough, space colonialism at its best - and what the fuck happened to Rocket 1?
