Leoni Leoni + Le diable dégoûtant

The two artists Leoni Leoni (Switzerland) + Le diable dégoûtant (France) are shaking up the musical pop underground.

Leoni Leoni moves with synthesizer and drum machine between wakefulness and dream state, dialect and English language, crooked and tidy.

Behind Le Diable Dégoutant is the interdisciplinary artist Pauline Marx.
As a musician, she seems like a being from another time and place. She combines surreal worlds with old customs from deepest Brittany.
Her performance is like an encounter with another time: imagine a plunderer lurking in the woods of a Bruegel painting or wandering through the surreal flora of a Hieronymus Bosch.
Using unconventional means such as reeds, grated horsehair and earthly textures, she creates an experimental electronic folk deeply rooted in mythology.

The double concert offers a risky balancing act between boundaries and opens up new dimensions.
