LAURA KRIEG
is a means of geocritical self-defense.
A cold wave of brutalist pop.
A drum machine, a microphone and silver glitter.

"'Fin du travail, vie magique' features a minimalist, pulsating bass groove, steady electronic percussion and atonal, distorted guitar melodies (all recorded by Krieg) that cut straight to the core and drive the track's unsettling energy. The track recalls the spirit of Malaria's pioneering work in the NDW/post-punk scene, as well as echoes of earlier, more primitive D.A.F. recordings and the experimental flavor of Austrian darkwave duo Astaron. The key to the track's success lies in its hard-hitting yet minimalist approach, with each instrument operating in its own fluctuating sphere, linked by Krieg's vocals ".

COLD CAUSE
When Mathieu (guitar) and Bruno (keyboards/machines) collaborated on a sound performance, it quickly became clear that something special was in the making.
With Luiça as the charismatic singer, COLD CAUSE (formerly Shoemale67) was formed - a band that combines dark sounds and driving rhythms and moves between darkwave and cinematic atmospheres.
COLD CAUSE creates a haunting musical universe reminiscent of DAF, The Soft Moon and Lebanon Hanover - unmistakable and captivating.
