Lesenacht! mit Geschichten, Comics, Nachtwanderung und Workshops

In the organizer's words:

When books come to life, comics resound and stories begin to shine: On November 21, 2025, WERK 2 invites children between the ages of 8 and 12 to a special reading night. Young readers will meet Leipzig authors and illustrators, experience exciting readings, create their own light objects and discover how words, images and ideas can shine together.

Among them are THE Leipzig children's book authors Judith Burger, Josephine Mark, Miriam Zedelius, Halina Kirschner, Christina Röckl, Maja Konrad and Gerda Raidt - seven strong voices that show how much magic there is in books, pictures and imagination.

After a brief joint welcome, it's time for the children - parents are welcome to join in the welcome, but preferably not afterwards 😉

First, the children listen to stories by Judith Burger and Josephine Mark before getting creative themselves: In a joint workshop with Miriam Zedelius, Halina Kirschner and Christina Röckl, small texts, pictures and bright works of art are created. After dinner together, Maja Konrad will take them on a mysterious night walk around WERK 2 - flashlights and curiosity expressly encouraged!

At the end, parents can also join in again: Gerda Raidt reads from "This is my world too" and provides a glowing end to a special evening full of stories, community and imagination.
