Magic, friendship and adventure: when fantasy comes to life
How mean: Elli's sister is allowed to take riding lessons and she isn't! As a consolation, Grandma entrusts her with the mysterious shell paint. Elli uses it to paint the most beautiful horse she can imagine. Suddenly, a whirlpool of color takes her to the hidden valley of Umbra. There, Wundermähne is waiting for Elli, the horse she has just drawn. Wonder Mane lives in Umbra together with her herd of wild horses and the guardian Liron. But to keep the valley safe, Elli and Wondermane must prove their friendship in the Night of a Thousand Stars.

Information about the author Jana Hoch:
Jana Hoch was born in Hanover and lives near the city. Even as a child, she was passionate about writing her own stories.
The idea for the Wundermähne series came from her close relationship with her horse Jamie. When writing, she follows her intuition - with the aim of bringing children closer to their love of animals.
