The book published in 2025 by Aladin El-Mafaalani, Sebastian Kurtenbach and Klaus Peter Strohmeier calls for a rethink: children must be moved from their position as outsiders to the center of attention, not only as a moral obligation, but as an essential necessity for a future worth living. With comprehensive analyses, it shows the enormous changes that are shaping childhoods today and how we can do justice to the youngest. The future viability of society also depends on this.
