We are delighted to welcome Jonis Hartmann to Orinoco! He will present his book "Das Farnweh" (SuKuLTuR, 2026) and talk about his work as an author, curator and translator. Moderation: Tünde Malomvölgyi

Jonis Hartmann Born in Cologne in 1982, grew up in the Ruhr region. Since 2010, the poet and translator has lived and worked in Hamburg, where he co-founded the reading series AHAB, i'm growing fur, Hafenlesung and the literary magazine tau. In 2026 he published "Das Farnweh" with SuKuLTuR, Berlin. Hamburg Translator's Prize 2024, finalist for the Merano 2026 Poetry Prize.
