Kinga Tóth is a Hungarian poet and performance artist. She was born in Sárvár, Hungary, in 1983 and studied linguistics. She writes in English, German and Hungarian and has published short stories and plays as well as poetry. She also teaches German and German literature and works as a journalist and editor. Kinga Tóth has illustrated some of her poetry books herself. Her work has been praised by critics. In 2023, she was shortlisted for the Wortmeldungen Literature Prize 2023. In the same year, she received a DAAD scholarship for literature in Berlin.
