How do young female performers from countries of the former Yugoslavia approach the realities of their ancestors' lives - doctors, midwives, mothers, the first female politicians? What do socialism, women's suffrage and women's self-determination have to do with each other? What is the connection between the so-called "epidemic of (unprofessionally performed) abortions" in the 1950s in what was then Yugoslavia and how is the right to contraception related to this? Under what conditions was the right to one's own (female) body subject to in the past and who determined this? And what battles are (still) being fought today? We invite you to an exchange about SEX EDUCATION II: FIGHT, with director Tjaša Črnigoj, other participants in the production and students from the Institute of Theater Studies at Leipzig University.
