LICHTERFEST 2026

The festival of lights, which is popular throughout the region, attracts visitors to Benrath Palace Park every year with its magical sounds and unique ambience. Visitors experience an unforgettable evening and unwind with an atmospheric open-air concert with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, cozy picnics by the mirror pond and breathtaking light and water features that are coordinated with the musical masterpieces, while the palace backdrop shines in the most beautiful colors.

Concert starts at 10 pm | approx. two hours incl. interval

You can access the event area via the palace forecourt at the main entrance (Benrather Schloßallee 100 | Entrance 1 and 2) and the side entrance at the Orangerie (Urdenbacher Allee | Entrance 3 | not barrier-free). Pets are not permitted on the event grounds. For your safety, access and bag checks will be carried out at the entrance. Please allow sufficient time for this and note that your ticket loses its validity when you leave the grounds. Re-entry is not possible. Non-permitted items will be collected and disposed of. A return is not possible.

This year's plans include a fireworks display as part of the Festival of Lights. The program is subject to change and does not entitle the holder to return tickets already purchased.
