Songs in the open air "Des Sommers zieh'n wir los in Richtung Süden" - with this line begins the song program of ZWEIERBANDE about their summer stays in Spain (Catalonia).

The musicians sing about the landscape and the people, cultural peculiarities, the joys of love and life and the everyday life in a lonely finca in the middle of an olive grove - largely without the comforts commonly expected in the country.

In the settings of his verses, lyricist and composer Jonas Körfer combines stylistic elements from folk, blues, chanson and pop with compositional styles that allow for musical developments. The songs emphasize the pleasurable aspects of experience and reveal possibilities for countering consumer society with self-determined ideas of happiness.
