Literatur-Karaoke in der MOTTE

In the organizer's words:

Tired of endlessly scrolling through the content jungle? Time for a real experience! Literary karaoke is the interactive event where gripping stories are brought to life together.

This is how literary karaoke works: For each story, four to six readers are selected from the audience. The texts, in which the corresponding reading passages are color-coded, are distributed among the participants. The readers then only have to follow the plot and read the marked reading passages in roles. After a short time, the participants will feel how the story draws them in and how they become part of the action. And for the audience, this is a radio play as a live performance. No preparation or special skills are necessary.

A reading session lasts about 15 to 30 minutes. There is then a short break. Afterwards, further readers are selected from the audience for a new story. Stories by the Hamburg author Andreas Schalay will be read. If you love exciting stories and want to spend a cool time reading together, then don't miss the literary karaoke at the Motte!

Two stories will be read aloud on 23.04:

Kabutago - a story of a German couple stranded on a vacation island as a result of unforeseen events.

The Power of Words - a medieval drama about how an ancient book shook the quiet world of a convent.

When you buy a ticket, it will say that there is standing room only. This is not correct and is due to the system. There will be enough seats for everyone :)
