Dynamism, virtuosity and charm - the brothers Lucas & Arthur Jussen embody all of this. They have been a dream team since their earliest youth, perfectly attuned to each other on one or two grand pianos and their entertaining qualities are a source of enthusiasm. As relaxed as they appear backstage, as easy-going as they talk about music or their sporting activities, as meticulous are their interpretations. The two audience favorites always surprise with new repertoire in their concerts - this evening with a collection of witty, ironic piano miniatures composed especially for the brothers by Jörg Widmann.
