"Gentle but determined and with a penchant for the smoky" (Süddeutsche Zeitung), Luka Blau sings about everything that moves him. His debut album Bisschen Beides (2024) was a surprise success, achieved well over a million streams and has since been regularly played on the widest-reaching radio stations in German-speaking countries.

His songs deliberately transcend classic genre boundaries. They are about ambivalence and contradictions, egocentricity and the fast pace of life - but also about new beginnings, the small wonders of life and, of course, love. In his lyrics, Luka Blau clearly positions himself against the right and shows that pop can be more than pure entertainment.

2025 was followed by the partly sold-out Bisschen Beides tour, which took Luka Blau and his band through clubs and festivals in Germany and Austria.

Together with Betty Akhigbe (bass, violin, vocals), Mayso Schindele (keys, trombone, vocals) and Vincent Crusius (drums, vocals), they have created a catchy, touching pop sound that is nonetheless outside the mainstream. A bit of both.
