How should it taste? Sweet or hot? No question, the Red Hot Serenaders simply do both: Rainer Wöffler and Tanja Wirz serve up high-percentage blues, hot jazz, bittersweet chansons, melting Hawaiian music and rattling ragtime. These musical delicacies, mainly from the 1920s and 1930s, are prepared on a wide range of instruments. Whether guitar, ukulele, mandolin, bottleneck, washboard, cajon or clarinet: nothing is safe from these two enthusiastic musicians. They play in proper style on instruments without electricity, but with all the more groove, two-part vocals, a pinch of lard, a wink and a dash of Frim Fram sauce. Bon appetit!
