Lunch Lecture mit Angela Steidele

For the second event in the series 35 Literary History - Lunch Lectures, Angela Steidele introduces the year 2001 and the novel "Das verborgene Wort" by Ulla Hahn, whose plot is closely linked to the Rhineland.
In novels, biographies and essays, Angela Steidele reflects on history as the present, on art as science and love as provocation. Her novel Rosenstengel (2015) was awarded the Bavarian Book Prize. Enlightenment. Ein Roman (2022) was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize. In 2023, she received the Klopstock Prize for New Literature for her entire oeuvre to date. Most recently, her novel Ins Dunkel (2025) was published.

A series of events organized by Literary Writing at the Academy of Media Arts and the Cologne City Library. In cooperation with Netzwerk Literatur Rheinland as part of the event series "Literatur hält zusammen!"
