Lylab

In the organizer's words:

experiment with words, themes and forms of expression

Do you write poetry and want to surprise yourself poetically? Or do you simply want to try your hand at poetry?

That's exactly what we at Poesieboten e.V. have developed "Lylab" for. Our new workshop format starts on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 6 pm. We will meet every two months to experiment with words, themes and forms of expression. Poetic brainstorming without the pressure of judgment. We take an unconventional and playful approach. You will receive suggestions and, if you wish, fine-tuning for your lines. Speaking of lines: Does poetry always have to be written? Can't it also be danced, painted or glued?

A further mainstay of the Lylab will be to design formats to bring our magical results into the world: a poetic mobile for Giesinger Bahnhof, unusual events in public spaces and fine printed matter or ...

Our first Lylab will be hosted by artist Katharina Schweissguth from Poesieboten. We are looking for more presenters for the future.

Lylab is for everyone who wants to make a poetic difference in Munich. Just come along!
